// ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Kevin Fich is a software engineer and first-time novelist who has spent his career building things that didn't exist before. He spent four years at Google architecting the Discover platform and mobile ads infrastructure, helped power music festivals across the country as a founding engineer at Blockparty Tickets — selling over 200,000 mobile tickets — and launched a campus startup out of the University of Miami that won the school's Innovation Award. He's still not sure which one was hardest.
The Emissary is his debut novel — a sci-fi thriller set in 2031 about a scientist who believes he's pioneering a breakthrough in human cell regeneration, only to discover that the line between creator and creation is far less certain than he thought. It's a story about identity, legacy, and what it means to be human, told by someone who has spent a career asking what's possible.
Kevin is currently based in New York City, where he's working on his next project.
